5.Adjustthethrottletooperatethemoweratthe
desiredgroundspeedandtransportthemachine
tothedesireddestination.

Useatrailertotransportthemachineaconsiderable
distance.Usecautionwhileloadingandunloadingthe
machineontothetrailer.
1.Carefullydrivethemachineontothetrailer.
2.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
andturnthefuelvalvetotheOFFposition.
3.Securelyfastenthemachinetothetrailer.

•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine
intoatraileroratruck.
•Useafull-widthrampforloadingthemachineinto
atrailerortruck.
•Tiethemachinedownsecurely.

1.ReturnthetractioncontrollevertotheNEUTRAL
position,thethrottletotheSLOWposition,and
shutofftheengine.
2.Pushthekickstanddownwithyourfootandpull
uponthehandlesupportuntilthekickstandhas
rotatedforward,overcenter.
3.Removethetransportwheelsbypushingthe
wheellockingclipsoutofthehex-shaftgrooves.
4.Carefullylowerthemachineoffofthekickstand
bypushingforwardslowlyorbyliftingthelower
handlesupport,allowingthekickstandtospring
backtotheSTORAGEposition.

foraccidentsthatmaycausepersonalinjuryor

•Wearappropriateclothing,includingeye
protection;longpants;slip-resistant,substantial
footwear;andhearingprotection.Tiebacklong
hair,securelooseclothing,anddonotwearloose
jewelry.
•Useyourfullattentionwhileoperatingthe
machine.Donotengageinanyactivitythat
causesdistractions;otherwise,injuryorproperty
damagemayoccur.
•Donotoperatethemachinewhileill,tired,orunder
theinuenceofalcoholordrugs.Keepbystanders,
especiallysmallchildren,outoftheoperatingarea.
Shutofftheengineifanyoneentersthearea.
•Donotrunanengineinanenclosedareawhere
exhaustgasescancollect.
•Operatethemachineonlyingoodvisibilityand
appropriateweatherconditions.Donotoperate
themachinewhenthereistheriskoflightning.
•Beforeyoustarttheengine,disengageall
blade-attachmentclutches,shiftintoneutral,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
•Watchforholes,ruts,bumps,rocks,orother
hiddenobjects.Uneventerraincouldcausea
slip-and-fallaccident.
•Useextremecarewhenapproachingblind
corners,shrubs,trees,orotherobjectsthatmay
blockyourview.
•Alwaysstandintheoperatingposition(behindthe
handle)whenstartingandoperatingthemachine.
•Ensurethatthegrassbasketisinplacewhile
mowing.Shutofftheenginebeforeemptyingthe
basket.
•Neverleavearunningmachineunattended.
