Donottiltthemachineunlessitisnecessary.Ifyou
tiltthemachine,engineoilcouldenterthecylinder
headoftheengine,andhydraulicuidcouldleakfrom
thecaplocatedontopofthetank.Theseleaksmay
resultinexpensiverepairstothemachine.Toperform
serviceunderthedeck,liftthemachinewithahoistor
asmallcrane.
PreparingforMaintenance
1.Driveortransportthemachinetoalevelsurface;
refertoTransportingtheMachine(page16).
2.Iflowered,raisethetransportwheels;referto
RaisingtheMachineontotheTransportWheels
(page16).
3.Iftheengineisrunning,shutofftheengine.
4.Engagetheparkingbrake.
5.Iftheengineishot,waitfortheengineand
hydraulicsystemtocool.
