<Diagnosis>
Bring up the presser foot and attach the
needle on the needle bar.
(Clarification of needle bar position)
When the feed dog is brought to the high-
est position (= upper dead point of needle
bar) by rotating the handweel, measure
the distance (A) between the surface of
needle plate and the upper limit of feed
dog.
A = 1.15 ± 0.1

Remove the presser foot.
When the feed dog is brought to the high-

the fore and aft position (A) of feed dog.
A = 1.0 ± 0.5
