These hearing aids are classied as IP68.
This means that they are water and dust
resistant and designed to withstand
daily life situations. They can be worn
in the rain but should not be fully sub-
merged in water or used when taking a
shower, swimming or other water activi-
ties. These hearing aids should never be
exposed to chlorinated water, soap, salt
water or other liquids with a chemical
content.
This charger is classied as IP22. This
means that the charger is protected from
vertically falling drops of water when the
charger is tilted up to 15 degrees from
the horizontal. IP22 is satised when the
charger lid is closed.
