Recommendation:
When surplus refrigerant is transferred for one's own require‐
ments, it is recommended that a portable charging cylinder with
visible level gauge and pressure relief valve be used.
Make sure to observe the corresponding technical rules (e.g.
TRGS 400, TRGS 402, TRGS 407, TRGS 510, TRBS 3145/
TRGS 725) when handling compressed gases and, in particular,
when filling compressed gases from one compressed gas con‐
tainer into another one.
2.11 Notes to repairs on refrigerant circuit
WARNING
When working on the refrigerant circuit, observe generally ap‐
plicable safety rules and the Regulations for Pressure Tanks.
Caution
Non-authorised tools or materials (e.g. leak inhibitor additive)
may cause damage or adversely influence the system.
Only tools and materials approved by the manufacturer may
be used.
Use of non-approved tools or materials will render the warranty
void.
Special tools and accessories:
To ensure a correct and professional repair to an air conditioning
system:
• Special tools and materials are required; these are listed on
⇒ page 165 .
• The essential information on the leak detector should be re‐
ferred to ⇒ page 58 .
• Expert knowledge is necessary.
