The heater
Unlike predecessor models, the new heater is
constructed in one piece.
The air distributing housing and the air duct
with shutoff flap are combined in a single
component.
The heater, which is controlled at the air intake
side, permits fresh-air and air-recirculation
modes. A main shutoff flap is therefore no longer
required.
Central flap
Fresh-air/air-recirculation flap
- By virtue of the stepped form of the central flap, the central air vent is closed in
defrost mode.
- An electric-motor-operated fresh-air/air-recirculation flap is integrated.
- In defrost mode, the air recycle function is switched off.
