Procedure for tilting down
Power trim and tilt models / power tilt models
1. Push the power tilt / power trim and tilt
switch “” (up) until the outboard motor
is supported by the tilt rod and the tilt
support lever / tilt support knob becomes
free.
2. Release the tilt support lever or pull out
the tilt support knob.
3. Push the power tilt / power trim and tilt
switch “” (down) to lower the outboard
motor to the desired position.

to allow operation in shallow water.
