Troubleshooting
PROformance and Classic: No Condensate Cooling (E15)
Is the B3 probe above
the set point?
Yes
Condensate cooling is not
active unless the B3 probe
is above the set point.
Is the incoming water line
connected to the untreated
water inlet on the back of
the appliance?
Connect the cold water supply line to
the untreated water inlet and test.
Yes
Is the untreated water
supply turned on?
Turn on the untreated
water supply line.
Is there line voltage across
the Y2 solenoid?
Determine which leg is
missing and correct:
Is the Y2 solenoid
opening?
Replace the faulty solenoid.
No

Is there water at the
condensate cooling
injection port?
Is the injection pipe clear
of obstructions?
Clean the cooling
injection pipe.
Is the condensate pan
drain hose plugged?
Yes
Repair or remove the
obstruction between the Y2
solenoid and the cooling port.
No

A1 is L1 supplied from
the Control Board (CB)
terminal X04 pin 1
A1 is L2 supplied from
the terminal block 27-17
Unplug the drain hose
and retest.
No
Inspect and/or replace the
B3 probe and its wiring.
