Troubleshooting
Classic: No Low Speed Convection Motor Operation (E03/E04)
Is the K51 high speed
contactor being energized?
Yes
Is there line voltage
across terminals 1/3/5 on
the K51 contactor?
Is there line voltage
across terminals 2/4/6 on
the K51 contactor?
Test for blown F4/F6/F7 fuse(s) and/
or repair the wiring issue between the
fuses, K50, or K51 contactors.
No
Yes
Determine which leg of
power is missing and
correct:
No
Replace the faulty
contactor.
No
Yes
Is there line voltage across
the black/blue/brown wires
at the convection motor?
Repair the wiring issue between
the K51 contactor and the
convection motor.
No
Is the K51 contactor
closing?
Is the convection motor
running?
Replace the faulty convection
motor and the capacitors
as applicable.
No
Yes
Yes
The low speed convection
motor is operating.
Yes
A1 is L1 supplied from the Control
Board (CB) terminal X01 pin 3 through
the N/C contacts 21/22 on the K50
contactor (K51 will not energize if K50
is energized).
A2 is L2 supplied from
K50 A2 which is supplied
terminal block TB 27-19.
No
Yes
Replace the faulty
contactor.
No
Does the motor fan wheel spin freely?
Remove the obstruction
and/or replace the convection
motor as needed.
