Long periods of inactivity
(03_25)
If the vehicle is inactive longer than fifteen
days, it is necessary to recharge the bat-
tery to avoid sulphation:
•
Remove the battery and put it
away in a cool and dry place.
In winter or when the vehicle remains
stopped, check the charge frequently
(about once a month) to avoid deteriora-
tion.
•
Fully recharge with an ordinary
charge.
If the battery is still on the vehicle, dis-
connect the cables from the terminals.
Lange stilstand (03_25)
Wanneer het voertuig inactief blijft voor
langer dan vijftien dagen, moet men de
accu opladen om sulfatatie te vermijden:
•
Verwijder de accu en plaats ze
op een koele en droge plaats.
Tijdens de winter of wanneer het voertuig
stilstaat, controleert men periodiek de la-
ding (ongeveer eens per maand) om het
verval ervan te vermijden.
•
Laadt ze volledig op door ge-
bruik te maken van een normale
lading.
Wanneer de accu op het voertuig blijft,
maakt men de kabels los van de klem-
men.
