2.5.4 PCI slots
The PCI slots support cards such as a LAN card, SCSI card, USB card, and other
cards that comply with PCI specications. The gure shows a LAN card installed
on a PCI slot.
2.5.5 PCI Express x1 slots
This motherboard supports PCI Express x1 network cards, SCSI cards and other
cards that comply with the PCI Express specications.
• Install the audio card on the black PCIEx1 slot prior to other compatible
cards.
• When using PCIEx1 cards, install the cards on PCIEx1 slots prior to
PCIEx16 slots.
2.5.6 PCI Express x16 slots
This motherboard has two PCI Express x16 slots that support PCI Express x16
graphic cards complying with the PCI Express specications. With two graphics
cards installed, the motherboard can enable dual-display.
This motherboard supports two ATI CrossFire™ PCI Express x16 graphics cards
that comply with the PCI Express specications.

• In CrossFire™ mode, install the ATI CrossFire™ Edition (Master) graphics
card on the primary PCI Express slot.
