1.1.2 Dual Intelligent Processors 2 – DIGI+ VRM
Together with the ASUS pioneered twin onboard chips, TPU (TurboV Processing Unit) and
EPU (Energy Processing Unit), ASUS Dual Intelligent Processors feature DIGI+VRM, which
launches power delivery into a digital standard with a programmable microprocessor that
perfectly serves power signal, eliminating digital-to-analog conversion lag. With DIGI+VRM,
you can easily adjusts the power phase performance and system voltages via diverse
settings to maximize the motherboard’s overall performance and overclocking potential.
TPU
TPU (TurboV Processing Unit) offers precise voltage control and advanced monitoring
mechanisms through the Auto Tuning and TurboV functions.
EPU
EPU (Energy Processing Unit), the world’s rst real-time system power-saving chip,
automatically detects the current system load and intelligently moderates power usage.
It offers a total system-wide energy optimization, reduces fan noise, and extends the
