Setting up the wireless security settings
To protect your wireless network from unauthorized access, you
need to configure the security settings of the wireless router.
To set up wireless security settings:
1. Key in 192.168.1.1 on your web browser.
2. On the login screen, key in the default user name (
admin) and
password (admin), then click OK.
3. On the
Network Map screen, click the System Status icon
to display the wireless security settings. The System Status
panel on the right will display the wireless network name,
authentication method, and encryption settings.
