TOWING INSTRUCTIONS
Label on towbar
Inspections, prior to each run
• Check tyre pressure and tyre condition
• Check wheel fixation
• Check screwed joints on firm seating.
• Check functioning of lighting and braking
systems (option)
• The jockey wheel must be parallel to the direction
of travel at all times.
• Inspect the coupling. The ball joint must fully
enclose the ball and be locked.
• At height adjustable towing facility (option),
check the joint connection for a tight fit.
For both non-adjustable - and adjustable towbar, the
towbar should be as level as possible and the
compressor and towing eye end in a level position.
Push the hand brake lever (1) completely downwards
and connect breakaway cable (2) to the vehicle.
Secure jockey wheel (3) or support leg in the highest
possible position (see figure). The jockey wheel is
prevented from turning.
Before towing the compressor, ensure
that the towing equipment of the vehicle
matches the towing eye or ball connector
and ensure that the service doors are
closed and locked properly.
