FUEL SYSTEM
Replacing the filter element
1. Unscrew the filter element (1) from the adapter
head.
2. Clean the adapter head sealing surface. Lightly oil
the gasket of the new element and screw the latter
onto the header until the gasket is properly seated,
then tighten with both hands.
3. Check for fuel leaks once the engine has been
restarted.
DRAINING INSTRUCTIONS
Regulary drain water from the fuel filter according to
the instructions on the fuel filter (1).
Manually priming of the fuel system is not necessary.
The electric fuel pump will be activated before the
engine is started and will fill the fuel system.

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces
or electrical components can cause a fire.
To help prevent possible injury, turn the
Power switch off when changing fuel
filters or water separator elements.
Clean up fuel spills immediately.
