Units of measure
To select the respective units of measure, km or
miles for the odometer as well as 6 or 7 for
the outside temperature, see page 53.

Ice warning
If the outside temperature drops to approx.
+36 (377), a signal is heard and a message
appears. Risk of icy roads.
Please note that ice may also occur at
temperatures above +36 (377), for
example on bridges or when the road is in the
shade.<
Distance recorder – odometer – and trip
distance recorder
Resetting trip distance recorder:
With the ignition switched on, press button 1 in
the instrument cluster.
Car parked
If you still want to view the time, outside tem-
perature and odometer reading briefly after the
remote control has been removed from the igni-
tion lock:
Press button 1 in the instrument cluster.
Revolution counter
Never force the engine speed up into the red
warning field, see arrow. In this zone the fuel
supply is interrupted to protect the engine.
