Riding
Driving with lugged tyres
The R 1250 GS Adventure HP
can be equipped with lugged
tyres for off-road use.
NOTICE
It is possible to adapt the tyre
pressure accordingly when rid-
ing with off-road tyres in rough
terrain.
In order to prevent incorrect
messages from the on-board
computer, it is recommended
that RDC is switched off when
the tyre pressure is changed.
Maximum speed with
knobbly tyres or winter
tyres
DANGER
Maximum speed of the mo-
torcycle is higher than the
permissible maximum rated
speed of the tyres
Risk of accident due to tyre dam-
age at high speed
Comply with the tyre-specific
speed restrictions.
Always bear the maximum per-
missible speed of the tyres in
mind when riding a motorcycle
fitted with knobbly tyres or winter
tyres.
Affix a label stating the maximum
permissible speed to the instru-
ment panel in the rider's field of
vision.
