Description
The Remote Control is a hand-held device that communicates with the Stimulator through a Bluetooth Low
Energy telemetry link. The Vercise Remote Control 4 is only compatible with Vercise Genus Stimulators
and the Vercise External Trial Stimulator 3 (ETS 3). The Remote Control functions include the following:
Linking/De-Linking to a Stimulator
Turning stimulation ON and OFF
Increasing stimulation amplitude
Changing and restoring Programs
Accessing Clinician Menu Options
Customizing Remote Control settings: language, volume, brightness
Enabling/Disabling MRI Mode for MR conditional Stimulators
In addition to the functions listed above, the Remote Control is used to establish communication
between the Stimulator and Clinician Programmer (CP) for device programming. See the “Establishing
Communication Between Stimulator and Clinician Programmer” section of this manual for instructions.
Cautions
Keep the Remote Control dry. It should not be exposed to moisture.
Do not connect the Remote Control USB port to any other device except to the Remote Control
charger provided with it.
Keep the Remote Control away from pets, pests, and children to avoid damage to the device.
