• Before replacing the needle, place fabric
or paper und er the pr ess er foot to
preve nt the n eed le from falling into the
hole in the needle plate.
Hold
the needle with your left hand, and
then use a screwdriver
to tum the needle
clamp
screw counterclockwise to remove
the
needle.

• Do not use excessive fo rce when loo sen ing
or tightening the needle clamp screw,
otherwise certain parts of the sewing
mach i ne may be damaged.

With the flat side of the needle toward th e

ac k of the machine, insert the needle
until
it touches the needle stopper. Next,
tighten the
needle clamp u si ng a
screwdriver.
