WARNING BIOLOGICALHAZARD
Depending on the use to which the instrument has been put,
the cleaning process may expose biological substances. These
substances may be infectious and/or harmful. Take
appropriate precautions and use appropriate safety
equipment. Refer to local biohazard regulations and consult
the Safety Representative before starting work.
WARNING SLIP HAZARD
Accidental spills of cleaning liquids can cause a slip hazard. Ensure that
all spills are cleaned up immediately.
Note Always allow sufficient time for maintenance procedures. As a guide, 2 hours is
the minimum that should be allowed.
Note Make sure that a ready supply of absorbent material (such as paper towels) is
available to clean up spills.
1.6 Laser Safety
WARNING
This instrument contains a Laser class 4 product option.The
enclosure surrounding the instrument is designed to protect the
user from exposure to the invisible radiation. Operating the
instrument with opened covers can expose the user to harmful
laser radiation, which may result in blindness.
