Inspect the P2 plate carefully to make sure that all contamination has been removed. The
surface next to the center hole should be shiny.

Discoloration can occur with a high-throughput workflow combined with source heating.
The source heating is unable to remove all contamination. Frequent manual cleaning is an
absolute necessity.
4.3 Final Tasks
Dry the parts inside the source using nitrogen to reduce pumping time (see Figure 4-17).
Excess fluid should be mopped up using a tissue before drying with nitrogen.
