4-3. Hard key code check
When all keys except numerical keys, Clear key and FEED keys are pressed directly, the machine
displays the hard key code as shown below.

Enter 1 digit from numeral key and press the sub total (ST), the following Hard check function will
be executed.
(1) 1+ST : Display, RAM, Drawer, Printer test
(2) 2+ST : Print test
(3) 3+ST : Read/Write test for EEPROM
(4) 4+ST : Read test for EEPROM
(5) 5+ST : RAM read test
(6) 7+ST : Voltage check for memory protection battery
(7) 8+ST : Print all characters
(8) 9+ST : Display the time
(9) 6+ST : Country code write to EEPROM

1) All segments turn on.
2) Date and time set.

Time : 23 : 59 : 00 P.M.
Above conditions are automatically set on the machine.
