Reading the display
The calculator display shows the expressions you have entered, the results of the
calculations, and various indicators.
• If the indicator appears to the right side of the calculation result, it means that
the displayed calculation result continues to the right. Use the arrows to move
the display of the calculation result.
• If the indicator appears to the right of the inserted expression, it means that
the displayed calculation continues to the right. Use the arrow keys to move the
display of the inserted expression. Be aware that if you want to move the
inserted expression while the indicators and are displayed, you will need to
press AC first and then use the arrows to move.

Significance:
The keyboard has been moved by pressing the SHIFT key. Pressing any
key will scroll back to the basic keyboard and this indicator will
disappear.
The alpha input mode has been set by pressing the ALPHA key.
Pressing any key exits the alpha input mode and this indicator will
disappear.
M
The value is stored in independent memory.
STO
The calculator is ready to insert a variable name so that it can add its
value. This indicator appears when you press SHIFT + RCL (STO).
RCL
The calculator is ready to insert a variable name so that it can recall its
value. This indicator appears when you press RCL.
