2.5 Power management
2.5.1 Power status
IT-G400 has following power states.
No State Display RAM CPU Description

Terminal is in operation
2 Early suspend OFF ON ON
Only the screen is OFF.

Suspend 1
OFF ON OFF
Nearly all devices except RAM are in OFF
state. OS and applications remain in RAM, but
application programs are stopped except some.

Hot Swap 2
OFF ON OFF
Ultra low power consumption mode prepared
for replacing the battery pack.
5 OFF / Shutdown OFF OFF OFF
All devices are in the OFF state.
1 Depending on the application on Android it is sometimes written as "sleep".
2 For the detail, refar “ 2.5.4 Hot swap (p. 13)”.
The change
of state from 5 to 1 is called "BOOT", and the state change from 3, 4, 2 to 1 is called
"RESUME".
2.5.2 Power on and suspend
When the device is in the OFF state, to turn on it, power key must be pressed for several seconds.
This is the specification to prevent unintentional turning on of power.
When the device is in Suspend or Early Suspend state, pressing power key resumes the device
immediately.
2.5.3 Turn off / Shutdown
Press and hold the power key for 1 second, then power menu pops up. If you select "Power off"
from the menu, it goes into OFF (Shutdown) state. Also this operation is called as "Shutdown".
