3 INITIAL SETUP
This procedure allows setting up the reader to operate with the default settings.
Whenever you need to change the default values refer to par. 4.2.
3.1 RS-232 INTERFACE SELECTION
The PowerScan® D8530 reader requires the RS-232 interface cable and the AC/DC
power adapter to be connected.
To install and configure your reader with the RS-232 interface, follow these
instructions:
Make all system connections as shown in Figure 3:
