Chapter 3 Removal and Replacement Procedures (RRPs)

Replacement 50 ADF SCANNER ASSY (PL13.8.1)
After all the replacement procedures (Replacement 75) are completed, open the ADF
ASSY and move the carriage locking lever rearward to the releasing position.
Steps 17) through 31) described below are the adjustment procedure to be performed
after the ADF SCANNER ASSY is replaced.
18) Engage the power code with the printer and the outlet.
19) Turn on the power while holding down the " " and the " " keys.
20) Release the keys when "Please wait…" is displayed.
21) In "Customer Mode", "FAX/Scanner Diag" and "Printer Diag" are displayed.
22) Select the "FAX/Scanner Diag" and press the " " key.
23) Press the " " key to select the "Scanner Maintenance" and press the " " key.
24) Press the " " key to select the "Parameter" and press the " " key.
