Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the optical drive”.
3 Remove the keyboard.
4 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 7 in “Removing the base cover”.
Procedure
1 Remove the two screws (M2.5x8) that secure the display hinge to the palm-rest
assembly.
