The following table indicates the most suitable level of ABS intervention for the various riding types as well
as the default settings in the "Riding Mode" that can be selected by the rider:
LEVEL MODE USE DEFAULT?
OFF The ABS is disabled. NO
1 SPORT For road use in good grip conditions. Under this
mode, ABS is active on both wheels. Lift-up pre-
vention controls are active; this calibration favours
braking power and ensures, at the same time,
good stability levels during braking and lift-up con-
trol*.
It is the default level
for the "SPORT" and
“TOURING” Riding
Modes.
2 URBAN For use under any riding condition. Under this
mode, ABS is active on both wheels. This calibra-
tion favours vehicle max. stability and lift-up pre-
vention and ensures, at the same time, a top level
max. deceleration performance.
It is the default level
for the “URBAN”
Riding Mode.
