THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGES:
"SAFETY LOOP OPEN": the safety loop is not closed, there is no connection between
the points 1-9 or 2-10 of connection C5 on the rear panel of the device. Press OK to
acknowledge the message
"OVER RANGE": the continuity resistance of the sample under test is higher than
the measurement possibilities of the device (> 1,000 mΩ)
"CONTINUITY ERROR": The wires are not connected correctly, or the element
tested between these wires has a resistance that is too high (approximately a few
ohms) for the device to measure it.
IMPORTANT
The device is equipped with a thermal protection system. In case of extended
use of the High
-current generator, the protection system will be activated.
In this case the
"OVER HEATED" message will be displayed permanently on
the LCD screen.
Switch off the
device and let it cool down for 10 minutes prior to resuming use.
