To install the glass shade, squeeze the retaining clips
towards the bulb socket and slide on the glass shade
(Figure 25). The spring clips will seat the shade and
secure it in place.
Install a 13W E26 medium base bulb CFL in each of
the light fitter sockets (Figure 25).
To remove the shade, first remove the light bulb from
the socket, then simply pull the shade off using a
twisting motion.

NOTE: In some instances it may be desirable to
install the ceiling fan without the light fixture. If this
is the case, proceed as follows. (You may want to
keep the light fixture for possible future use.)
Light bulbs and glass shades removed.
Remove the three switch housing screws securing the
light fixture (Figure 26).
Retain the three switch housing screws for future use.

Disconnect the two wire connectors that are securing
the light fixture wires to the switch housing wires
(Figure 27).
Retain the wire connectors for future use.
