PINPOINT TEST F: THE SPEED DEPENDENT INTERVAL MODE DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY
NOTE: Complete the entire Pinpoint Test related to the symptom before replacing the GEM.
No
REPLACE the relay in question. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
E15 CHECK CIRCUIT 941 (BK/W) FOR OPEN
Washer Pump Motor C138
Measure the resistance between washer pump relay connector Pin 3, Circuit 941 (BK/W) and
washer pump motor C138, Circuit 941 (BK/W).
 Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to E16.
No
REPAIR Circuit 941 (BK/W). CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
E16 CHECK CIRCUIT 946 (P/LG) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between rear washer pump relay connector Pin 3, Circuit 946 (P/LG)
and washer pump motor C138, Circuit 946 (P/LG).
 Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
REPLACE the washer pump motor; REFER to Washer Pump and Reservoir. CLEAR the
DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR Circuit 946 (P/LG). CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
