A. Installation
The house owner is responsible for ensuring that all neces-
sary national and local safety measures are observed during
installationandttingandalsoresponsibleforobservingthe
ttingandoperatinginstructionsdetailedinthismanual.
Whenyouinstallanykindofreplaceorstove,youmust
informthelocalauthorities.Youarealsoresponsibleforcall-
ing in a chimney sweep to inspect and authorize the instal-
lation.

ring to national and European Standards need to be com-
plied with when installing the appliance.
B. Safety
Anychangesmadetotheproductbythedealer,installer
or user could result in the product and safety functions not
functioning as intended.The same applies to the tting of
accessories or extra equipment not supplied by Hearth and
Home. This could also be the case if parts that are neces-
sary for the operation and safety of the stove are dismantled
or removed.
External surfaces of the appliance get hot during use and
can cause burns. Use caution around the unit even when
the unit does not appear to be in use. Different materials
can hold heat for different lengths of time.
Intheeventofachimneyre,keepthefrontdoorclosed,
close all air controls, evacuate the structure and call the
local authorities from a safe location.
