UNPACKING
INSTRUCTIONS
■ Carefully remove the product from the carton.
■ Inspect the product to make sure no breakage or
damage occurred during carriage.
■ Do not discard the packing material until you have
inspected and operated the product.
PACKING LIST FOR OWNER’S KIT
■ Grass deflector (9)
■ Front Handle (8)
■ Silencer guard (1), torque wrench (16) and screws (18)

■ Operator’s manual
ASSEMBLY
GRASS DEFLECTOR (Fig. 2)
1. Remove wing nut (14), flat washer (12), lock washer (13),
and bolt (11) from the Owner’s Kit.
2. Place grass deflector over shaft and bracket (15).
3. Install bolt through the slots (29) in the tabs on grass
deflector and bracket on driveshaft housing (7).
4. Install flat washer, lock washer and wing nut.
5. Tighten Securely.
FRONT HANDLE (Fig. 3)
1. Remove the front handle, bolt, and wing nut from the
Owner’s Kit.
2. Install the front handle onto the top side of the drive
shaft housing and move it to a comfortable position.
3. Place the bolt through the front handle as shown, then
install the wing nut.
4. Tighten wing nut securely.
NOTE: Do not attempt to remove or modify the spacer.
This spacer limits the upper position of the handle grip.
SILENCER GUARD ASSEMBLY (Fig. 4)
1. Remove silencer guard and two screws (18) from the
owner’s kit.
2. Attach the silencer guard to the rear housing (17).
NOTE: Make sure the bent end of the silencer guard (19)
fits securely into the opening of the rear housing (20).
3. Install two screws.
4. Tighten screws securely.
