Air Cleaner
Changing Air Cleaner Element
Use a new Honda Genuine air cleaner
element or an equivalent specified for your
motorcycle.
NOTICE
Using the wrong air cleaner element may cause
premature engine wear or performance problems.
1. Remove the front seat. 2 P. 54
2. Remove the air cleaner case cover by
removing the air cleaner case cover screws.
3.
Remove the air cleaner element by
pushing the tabs.
4. Install the new air cleaner element.

Make sure the air cleaner element is
installed securely.
5. Install the air cleaner case cover and
tighten the air cleaner case cover screws.
Torque: 0.8 lbf·ft (1.1 N·m, 0.1 kgf·m)
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of
removal.
