DRAINING THE FUEL TANK AND CARBURETOR
1. Unscrew the fuel filler cap (see page 16), remove the fuel strainer, and empty
the fuel tank into an approved gasoline container. We recommend using a
commercially available gasoline hand pump to empty the tank. Do not use an
electric pump. Reinstall the fuel strainer and the fuel filler cap.
Gasoline is highly flammable and
explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured
when handling fuel.
• Stop the engine and let it cool before
handling fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Keep away from your vehicle.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
