ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the oil while the engine is warm to assure rapid and complete draining.
1. Open and remove the oil maintenance cover.
2. Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the oil, then remove the
drain plug and sealing washer, remove the oil filler cap, and drain the oil.
3. Reinstall the oil drain plug and a new sealing washer. Tighten the plug
securely.
Torque: 13.0 lbf·ft (17.7 N·m, 1.8 kgf·m)
4. With the generator in a level position, fill with the recommended oil to the
upper limit. Do not overfill.
• “Upper limit” means the oil exists to the oil filler neck.
Refer to "ENGINE OIL RECOMMENDATIONS" in page 12.
Maximum oil capacity: 18 oz (0.55 L)
5. Reinstall the oil filler cap and tighten it securely.
6. Reinstall, close, and latch the oil maintenance cover.
Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.
