INSTALLATION (CONT)
With Searchline Excel
The DVC100 (M) MK2 is fitted to the Excel receiver’s mounting plate and then
the units are wired.
(1) Securely t the Termination Unit to the mounting plate so that the
communications link entry socket connector is located at the bottom.
Use the Termination Unit mounting holes marked G on the diagram below.
The box uses different holes depending on the plate’s orientation.
(2) Remove the Termination Unit lid.
(3) Attach the Searchline Excel gas detector's cable to the Termination Unit.
Fit to the bottom left entry.
(4) Fit approved certied cable glands to the Termination Unit cable entries
as necessary.
(5) Fit the external eld wiring through the cable ttings and secure.
(6) Terminate the gas detector and eld wiring.
