Rules for Setting Drawer IDs
For each cabinet no matter whether it is a system cabinet, power cabinet, or
expander cabinet, the following rules apply:
1. Platform component push-wheel numbering begins with 0.
2. CPU drawers are numbered first, power subracks second and IO drawers
third.
3. Components are numbered sequentially from bottom to top.

Example 1: a system cabinet with two 8P drawers, two power subracks, and two
I/O drawers would have the following IDs:
8P drawers 0 and 1
Power subracks 2 and 3
I/O drawers 4 and 5
Example 2: a power cabinet with four power subracks and four I/O drawers would
have the following IDs:
Power subracks 0 through 3
I/O drawers 4 through 7
