Touchpad
NOTE: The touchpad spare part kit does not include the touchpad cable. The touchpad cable is included in
the Cable Kit, spare part number L14906-001, and includes double-sided adhesive.

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 23).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 25).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (2) that secure the touchpad bracket to the computer.
3. Remove the touchpad bracket from the computer (3).
4. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 broadhead screws (4) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
5. Remove the touchpad from the computer (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
