1 Base enclosure cover Covers the display cable connector.
2 Docking connector Connects the tablet PC to an optional
docking device.
3 Travel battery connector Connects an optional travel battery.
4 Vents (3) Enable airflow to cool internal
components.

To prevent overheating, do
not obstruct vents. Using the
tablet PC on a soft surface, such
as a pillow, blanket, rug, or thick
clothing, may block airflow.
5 Primary battery bay Holds the primary battery pack.
6 Primary battery release

Releases the primary battery pack from
the battery bay.
7 Hard drive cover Holds the primary hard drive.
8 Expansion memory
module compartment
Contains one expansion memory
module slot.
