3 Configuring RAID Parameters
3.1 Preparations
This document use the RH2288H V3 Broadwell SAP HANA Sizing 6T advanced version of
the RAID configuration as an example.
RH2288H V3 Broadwell hard disk planning is as follows:
1. slot 0 and slot 1 2*600G SAS hard disk configuration RAID1(enable Cachecade), for
the installation of OS.
2. The rest of the hard disk configuration RAID50 (>10 disks) (or RAID5 for <10 disks)
enable Cachecade for HANA database volume
3. 4 *400G SSD or 2*400G SSD(RH2288H V3 Base RAM<1T),configurate RAID1 as
Cachecade disk
3.2 Configuring RAID Parameters
Step 1 During the server startup, when infomation is displayed as Figure 3-1, press Ctrl+R to open
the RAID configuration screen.

Step 2 On the RAID configuration page, as shown in Figure 3-2.
