7 Repairs
3. Use a pair of round-nosed pliers when dismantling
the throttle cable. Bend the holder down and take
the cable out.
4. Take the Z-nipple out of its holder.
5. Use a pair of round-nosed pliers when dismantling
the fuel hose and the purge hose.
6. Take the fuel line out.
Tip: Reduce the fuel pressure by loosening the lid of
the fuel tank.
7. Take the purge line out.
8. Loosen the lower hose clip on the intake pipe.
9. Dismantle the impulse hose that sits between the
cylinder and the holder in the carburettor.
10. Remove the carburettor by pulling it straight out.
7.3.4 Assembling the carburettor
1. Put the carburettor back in its place.
2. Put the impulse hose back.
3. Pull the lower hose clip back from the carburettor
to the intake pipe.
4. Put the fuel line and the purge hose back using a
pair of round-nosed pliers.
5. Mount the throttle cable Z-nipple in its holder.
6. The throttle cable clips must sit on the covering as
shown in the picture.
