DO NOT use water to clean the generator. Water can enter the generator through
the cooling slots and damage the generator windings.
DO NOT modify the generator in any way.
DO NOT tamper with governed speed. Generating set supplies correct rated
frequency and voltage when running at factory. Tampering with the factory set
governor will void your warranty
Engine Maintenance
Engine Oil
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all-temperature use. Other viscosities
shown in the chart may be used when the average temperature in your area is within
the indicated range.
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE
See SPECIFICATIONS for oil capacity (rated)
Add Oil
1. Place the engine on a level surface.
2. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean.
Remove dipstick
3. Add recommended oil to the upper limit.
