Starting
Before starting the motor, make sure the mower is not sitting on long grass.

Push and hold in the red button on the handle.
Now pull one of the Operator Presence Control (OPC) levers in.

Make sure the cable is well away from the cutting blade.
Stopping
To stop the motor, release the OPC lever.
