Before Each Use
• Always ensure that the mower is in a safe
working condition. Inspect the blade, check
safety devices and guards and check all nuts,
bolts and screws are secure.
• Check the oil level, go to page 28 for
instructions.
• Fill the fuel tank with unleaded petrol. Go to
page 28 for instructions.
• Check the OPC cable, if there is more than
10mm movement in the OPC lever before the
cable begins to move, then the OPC cable will
require adjustment. Go to page 19 for
instructions.
Starting Procedure
NOTE - You MUST ensure the
mower has the correct oil and fuel level be-
fore operation. Images may vary depending
on the model of machine.

STEP 1
HYM46SPE ONLY
Charge the battery for six hours using the
charger supplied.
STEP 2
HYM46SPE ONLY
Push the choke lever all the way forward.
STEP 3
Make sure the blade is free of long grass and
the cutting height is set to maximum.
STEP 2

cold,pump the primer bulb 5 times.
