Recommended Liquid Gasket
• Make sure to use a liquid gasket with the above
product name or equivalent.
• Do not use LOCTITE 515, 518 or FMD 127, as
they are anaerobic, and do not provide sufficient
effect when there is a gap larger than 0.25 mm
(0.01 in) between the contact surfaces of metals.
• Use an appropriate amount of liquid gasket. Follow
the handling precautions for the product.
Application method
1. Wipe any water or oil from the contact surface.
Make sure the contact surface is dry.
2. Apply liquid gasket of the specified bead width to
one side of the contact surface. Make sure there
are no cuts in the beads.
