Engine Cooling System
When using Isuzu genuine long-life coolant (LLC), the
percentage of LLC in the coolant should be 30 to 60%.
If it is more than 60%, overheating is likely to occur,
while if it is less than 30%, the coolant’s anti corrosion
performance will be inadequate.
Use a 30% LLC and 60% water mixture for moderate
outside temperatures.
Anti-freeze solution concentration and freezing
temperature
Select the mixture ratio for a freezing temperature that
is about 10°C (50°F) lower than the expected outside
temperature.
When using an anti-freeze solution other than the Isuzu
genuine LLC (Isuzu specified product), use the
following mixture ratios;
When the outside temperature is above -40°C (-40°F):
50% anti-freeze solution and 50% tap water
When the outside temperature is -40°C (-40°F) or
lower: 60% anti-freeze solution and 40% tap water
