lease button securing the cabinet panel under the control panel.
Refer to Section “Draining and Relling” for instructions on how
to remove the cabinet panel(s).
Grip one of the corner panels from the bottom and pull it gently
outwards to release it; then, lower the panel and remove it.
Do the same for the other corner panel.
Then, grip the front panel from the bottom and lift it up slightly to
release it from the support; then, pull it forwards to remove it as

Then remove the six door screws on the control box. Place the
panel is a safe location to prevent damage.
Select the power supply entrance you want to use. Make sure
to install a 3/4" electrical tting and conduit through the large
opening provided in the bottom of the control box so you can
feed the cable through to the terminal block.
According to the hot tub model, connect it to the terminal
block as indicated in the following diagrams.
Once the hot tub has been installed, the cable clamp and the
control-box cover should be rmly sealed.
In the event that not enough electricity is available, it is still
possible to activate an electronic consumption limiter, operating
within the electronic control box (please refer to the wiring dia-
grams included in this manual).
This operation can only be performed by authorised Jacuzzi®
technicians.
Start-up instructions
Read each step in its entirety before proceeding with that step.
Remove any dirt from the spa. Although the spa shell has been
polished at the factory, you may want to treat it with a specially
formulated spa cleaner and wax available from your dealer prior
to lling the rst time.
Filling the spa
Remove the lter cover, then remove both lter cartridges as
outlined in section “Cleaning The Filters.
Position the end of the hose inside the lter connection and ll
the spa until the level of water covers all of the nozzles, without
however reaching the pillow.
Do not overll your spa.
N.B.: If your water is extremely hard, it is preferable to ll halfway
with hard water and the rest of the way with softened water.
Always rell the spa through both lter ttings to purge trapped
air from pump intakes. Failure to do so may cause air to be
trapped in either pump 1 or the circulation pumps intake, pre-
venting the pumps from circulating water.
After lling, make sure both lters are installed properly before
applying power to the spa. (refer to sec.) “Cleaning the lters”).
Checks
Open the cabinet access panel and check all pump ttings to
make sure they are tight. Loosening can occur during shipping
and handling.
Turning on power
Turn on power to spa at the homes circuit breaker: the heater
and circulation pump automatically activate. The water temper-
ature LED ash on the control panel and the messages “COOL or
“ICE” appear.
Note: “COOL and “ICE” will only appear when the spa is in Econ-
omy mode.
Start-up
Activate the pump(s). (see control panel”)
NB: do not start the pump(s) if the water does not cover the high-
est pump nozzles.
- Open all of the air controls and turn all of the massage selector
knobs to the central position.
Addition of chemical additives at rst start-up
Please refer to the Jacuzzi system water treatment guide and
relative catalogue for details on water quality maintenance, the
methods and warnings governing the use of relative chemical
products.
CAUTION: Read and follow all the instructions related
to the use and storage methods of chemical products,
in strict compliance to the manufacturer's instructions
provided on the packaging.
CAUTION! Do not use trichlorine tablets! This can dam-
age the components of the hot tub and cause burning
and irritation to the skin and mucous membranes. The
use of these chemicals will void the manufacturer's
warranty.
N.B.: Always cover the spa (except when mixing chemical addi-
tives!) with the insulating cover, so as to reduce heating times and
thus minimize operating costs.
The time required for initial heat-up will vary depending on the start-
ing water temperature.
