16.6 Changing the ignition timing map
Preparatory work

Remove the seat. ( p. 56)
Turn handle
of the fuel tap to the OFF position. (Figure L00904-10 p. 14)
Remove the fuel tank. ( p. 63)
Switch the ignition timing map from Performance to Soft
(All 125/150 models)
Disconnect the plug-in connector
of the ignition timing map. (Figure M01175-10 p. 100)

16.7 Checking the basic position of the shift lever

When driving, the shift lever must not touch the rider's boot when in the basic position.
When the shift lever keeps touching the boot, the transmission will be subject to an excessive load.

Sit on the vehicle in the riding position and determine distance
between the
upper edge of your boot and the shift lever.
