Faults Possible cause Action
Engine does not speed up Faulty ignition Ignition coil - check the primary wind-
ing.
Check the spark plug connector.
Check the stator winding of the alter-
nator.
Ambient pressure is incorrectly
stored
Program ambient air pressure.

Engine has too little power Air filter very dirty Clean the air filter and air filter box.

Fuel filter is very dirty Change the fuel filter.

Malfunction in the electronic
fuel injection
Check wiring for damage and electrical
plug-in connectors for corrosion and
damage.
Read out the fault memory using the
KTM diagnostics tool.
Fuel supply interrupted Check the fuel tank breather.
Exhaust system leaky,
deformed or too little glass
fiber yarn filling in main
silencer
Check exhaust system for damage.
Change the glass fiber yarn filling of
